You may notice a sudden wave of new book entries appearing on The Storystead. That’s because, for the next few weeks, this website is doubling as part of a graduate school database design project. While I work through the technical requirements, I’ll be adding a large number of titles all at once.
đź’› What this means
Some books may appear:
- incomplete
- missing full annotations or illustration notes
- without their usual awards, school uses, or deeper metadata
These entries are not final. They are working pieces that let me test, learn, and grow The Storystead as both a website and a database. I will be returning to them with the same care and intention you see in the more complete titles.
🗓️ After December 15
Once this project is graded (around December 15), all partially filled entries will be:
- temporarily hidden from the public catalog
- polished, expanded, and brought up to the full Storystead format
- republished with detailed notes, thoughtfully developed fields, and the kind of context you expect from this space
The goal is for this season of rapid growth to become a foundation for something steady, sustainable, and useful to families, caregivers, and professionals.
